OUR STORY
K & K's Cookie Cart started with a simple "what if?" The idea began when Kayla sent Katie a reel about a farmstand created by a group of friends, and within a week, a spontaneous idea had a name, and logo. For seven months, Katie and Kayla worked behind the scenes, keeping their idea a secret while testing recipes, creating flavors, and dreaming up a unique experience for their community. Inspired by the simplicity of a roadside stand, the vision was to create a place where people could stop by, grab a cookie (or two!), and enjoy a homemade treat made with care. Since launching K & K's Cookie Cart, in 2025, it has been incredible to see the excitement our cookies bring to the community. What started as an idea between two cousins grew into something that brought people together.
Today, Katie continues carrying that vision forward, creating new flavors, connecting with customers, and sharing the same homemade cookies and joy that started it all.
Katie here, co-founder of K & K's Cookie Cart. Together with Kayla, we took a love for baking and turned it into something bigger than we ever imagined. I love dreaming up new flavor combinations, and ideas that will highlight the unique experience we've created. My love for baking started after becoming a mom, when I wanted to created something special for my kids. What began with a birthday cake turned into an outlet I never expected. Baking has always been more of a place where creativity, comfort and connection come together. I'm not the one buying something last minute for a party. I search for the best recipe or unique idea, and show up with the homemade dessert that people ask "You made this?" Every cookie made is created from scratch with the hope that it brings people together for a sweet moment worth remembering.
Two cousins who have always shared life's moments together; Growing up Katie and Kayla were the duo who went to the same events, loved the same music and movies, and even had their fair share of matching outfits. Bringing their talents together to create something special just felt right.
Kayla brought her creativity and eye for design from the beginning. She helped shape the brand through photography, packaging designs, graphics, and the fun personality that people came to recognize. While baking will always be apart of Kayla's family traditions, her greatest gift was bringing her ideas to life. Her contributions helped build the foundation of K & K's Cookie Cart, the experience customers know and love.
