The vison for a cookie cart started when Kayla sent Katie a reel about a farm stand created by a group of friends. She asked if we could do the same thing and the spontaneous decision, within the week, had a name and a logo. For seven months we didn't tell anyone what we were doing, and worked on perfecting cookie flavors that would wow our community. We desired to create an experience that would be unique to our area. Like a roadside stand, we wanted a cart that was self-serve so people could stop by, grab a cookie or two, pay and be on their way. Since starting we have loved to see people excited about our cookies, as much as we are. We have been apart of the local farmers market, and will be taking online orders too. Our hope is to have our cookies in the hands of all who love a sweet treat, and for the community to share this experience with their friends and family.

OUR STORY
"Hi, I'm Katie (on the right), one half of K & K's Cookie Cart. The hands behind the mixer, and the mind behind the irresistible flavors that ignite your sweet tooth. I started baking after becoming a mom, wanting to create something special for my kids. It all began with a birthday cake-and turned into a passion I never expected. Baking became an outlet where creativity, comfort, and a whole lot of butter come together.
I'm not the mom grabbing store bought brownies on the way to a party (though hey, no shame). I'm the one who's Googling "the best brownie recipe" and showing up with a homemade batch where people ask, "You made these?"
I believe that good cookies come from quality ingredients, and great ones come from the heart, made from scratch and with love. Because this unique experience isn't just about making cookies, it's about creating and sharing little moments of joy."
"Hi! I'm Kayla (on the left), the other half of K & K's Cookie Cart. I am the hands behind the witty and creative posts you see on our social media, the adorable labels and graphics you'll see on all our packaging and at the cart, as well as the person behind the lens of our photography.
For me, baking has always been a part of my family and our traditions, but it was never my main creative outlet. I have always loved to whip up something simple, or unique for a family gathering.
Currently when I'm not working on the cart, I run a photography business, home school our elementary age daughter, and try to keep my house from exploding into chaos (which, let's be honest, is a task).
For me, the cookie cart is a way for us to do something together, like we always have, creating joy and a unique experience for the people in our community."
As cousins, growing up together we did everything, we went to the same events, we liked the same music, watched the same movies, even wore the same clothes. It only made sense that as adults, we brought our skills and passions together and did this.
We are K & K's Cookie Cart!
